I stumbled across these "pearls" by meeting the featured contributing Author, Michele Quesenberry. I immediatley sensed her intensely bright and positive energy...what a pleasure. I gave her a copy of my book, and she gave me a copy of hers, so that we could share our stories of triumph. This book is truly a "collection" of personal stories to be treasured. Each of these lessons about life is short, but more importantly, they're true, which renders them incredibly compelling and inspiring.Often times we have bad days and reading only a few of these gems can put you back on your feet, ready to run the race again with increased vigor and stamina, and you'll close the covers believing in yourself and believing you can overcome and succeed. And the next time you find yourself struggling through life you might find yourself drawn to these pages for another passage of hope. I could not put this book down! The stories are so inspirational and I found I could relate to quite a few of them. We all have problems in our lives and these wonderful stories show us that we can all get through our problems no matter how bad they seem at the time. Fantastic Book!
What a pleasure it is to read and experience such candour from these authors. Stories such as these will enrich your life and assist in guiding you to further understanding your own challenges. I especially liked the short story format which makes it a book that can be picked up at any time to be inspired no matter how busy you are.
A gem of a book. I was particularly pleased to find that many of the inspiring stories contain practical wisdom that I myself will be able to follow. The short-story format is ideal for dipping into, or for when you've only a few minutes spare to read, however, I kept saying to myself 'I'll just read this one'....and 6-8 stories later I'd make myself put down the book!
This book is a gem for anyone wanting to read REAL stories by REAL people who've risked and been vulnerable but have climbed back out of the mire on their own. Inspiring stories by brave people who've BEEN THERE and know what it's like to be low and yet have found the strength and courage to reach into themselves, call on their inner resources and often a few angels to find a new path of growth and freedom. They have persevered using tools that they have proven for themselves DO work, such as affirmations, visualisations and faith. They could work for you too!
I've really enjoyed this book so far. Wisdom and inspiration and stories like these are typically passed down from a good friend or family member, but this anthology allows us to hear important life lessons from a world of diverse author's and voices. I enjoy picking it up, and reading a selection over a cup of tea, or before bed, and mull over the story for the rest of the day/night.
I would highly recommend to those who are looking for inspiration, but don't know exactly what kind. It's not as much a self-help book, as an awareness speaking from thoughtful and intuitive authors.

So many challenges, suffering followed by so much Healing! One realizes one is not alone. Secondly, if that person could not only survive the experiences they did but even ultimately come out stronger and healed then it inspires us all and gives us all hope. Susan Dawn Queen's Circle of Angels was especially moving. THe depth of her despair transformed by the arrival of an Angel brought me to tears. Tears of sadness that she wanted to take her life, and tears of Joy that her Angel showed her the way. Wonderful stories by a wonderful mix of people. Perfect to read last thing at night--guaranteed to uplift you and give you good dreams! as opposed to watching the 1100 pm news!
